Recent Chicken Scratchings
Greetings Chickenmonkeydogians,
Today, 17 June 2009, marks the one year anniversary of our daily posts. Sure, the blog celebrated its first birthday in January of this year, but it was on this day in 2008 that the editors decided to kick chickenmonkeydog up a notch and publish every Monday through Friday, come rain or shine or web server outage.
We certainly hope that you’ve enjoyed our posts and we thank you for submitting content for our guest posts. We are very grateful for your many comments (1,382 to date) and for your regular readership. You’ve made a fun, creative project very rewarding for us.
As we look back over the year, we wonder which was your personal favourite post? Please do let us know via the comments.
And as we march ahead into our second year of daily posts, what would you like to see us add? What could we do differently or better?
As always, we aim to please you, our dear readers, wherever you may be in the world.

Keep up the good work players.
My mom’s favorite post must be the bookmark one, because she mentioned it at least 3 times when I was home this past weekend. She even has a bookmark to give to Conall when he returns to the States.
And she wanted me to disclose that I have recently been using a fiberboard Guinness brand coaster as a bookmark.

Do you ever spell words incorrectly trying to act “British?” Such as favourite? I mean, it must have taken a little getting used to… maybe it was an accidental honuor? And then you were like… wait… where does the u go again? Ok, maybe that’s never happened but just wanted to check.
