Chickenmonkeydog spells how?
As the writers of chickenmonkeydog live in two different countries - divided by a common language - you may find that spelling of some words are in US English and others are in UK English. Don't worry ... you're not going mad and we're not sloppy editors. We just want to use both. So there!

Um, right. Sure, you don’t, Mr Soapy Eyes.
the other day my daughter came up and said, “Dad, smell my eyes.” She had inadvertently gotten some perfume in her eyes and although they were a little sore and watery, she was very proud that they smelled nice! if you wash your eyes, might as well add some scent too.
@ Mark
Kudos to your daughter for looking on the bright side!
It does seem strange to me that we simply don’t wash our eyes, I mean, we wash every other exposed part of our bodies, right? So why not the eyes?
