@ Steve,

How many times do I have to tell you to stop looking in the mirror when you're surfing the chickenmonkeydog website? It's just this sort of mishap that can happen. Please do be careful!

@ forkboy1965

I like the idea, and in fact I often do use my telephone timer to help me remember to finish tasks, or to wake me up before my stop on the train. The issue with the tea is that I don't know how much time it really takes to cool the tea to the ideal temp.

@ am

With the lovely weather we had in Chicago this weekend, iced tea would have been wonderful. Thanks!

Ah! The "timing conundrum" as I like to call it.

The same is true of remembering to go back into the basement to move laundry around or going back for your freshly brewed cup of coffee.

For me I take advantage of my iPhone's timer function within the clock app. I frequently set it to the needed amount of time so that the alarm, when it rings, reminds me I have something to do, collect, eat/drink, etc. \

Perchance your mobile phone has such a feature?

I can't solve the problem for you, but this post has put me in the mood for a cup of tea. Thank you.
