If you find yourself in an airport at some point today, please keep an eye out for our Foreign Correspondent. We’ve recalled him from his assignment in India and are ordering him on some well-deserved R&R.

A travelling Conall

If you see our man in the airport lounge, please do buy him a beer, tea or coffee. You may even get yourself a little chickenmonkeydog souvenir for your troubles.

Our Technical Editor reports that our Foreign Correspondent was NOT in the airport for the photo used in this photo. He was on a personal visit to the home of the Dalai Lama, who maintains a shoe-free home.

And, as it turns out, the Dalai Lama had already heard of chickenmonkeydog, decorating his home with our signature red, yellow and blue.

I can’t believe I was traveling on the same day. Wow, I really lucked out by not crossing paths with this guy! Or maybe we did cross paths and he’s working some Indian magic on me…

So CMD misled us into believing he was in an airport? I’m so disappointed….

    ;-)

Is that a shrine in the background or a bar? The Dalai Lama is a lot more of a party guy than I realized if that is a bar in his house.

    @ Forkboy,

The image was used so that our readers could identify our Foreign Correspondent — it was not intended to suggest that the photo was sent during our foreign correspondent’s travel. We do apologize for the confusion.

    Liam – that’s ok. I’m often confused.
