Driving through a small town (population 1038) in rural Illinois, I suddenly started singing Bruce Springsteen’s “Glory Days” … Not entirely sure why …

Wonder when was the last time that water tower was painted.

@ Conall: given the hastle of painting a water tower, I would guess the summer of 1952, shortly
after the basketball season ended.
