i think that what we have learned is that if ‘thai cookies’ are good, the cook probably doesn’t follow their own recipe……but isn’t that the case in all cultures?

Maybe everyone should win? I used a conversion calculator and maire is indeed correct – 190C would be 374F. I’m also not sure how you could measure only 1/4 inch of cookie dough. I’m impressed with the number of things found wrong with this recipe!

Is there a translation issue here? Was it originally in Thai?

How about the quarter of an inch wide cookies? That’s a pretty small cookie…more like a morsel.

if these directions are supposed to be followed sequentially, i’m surprised that the oven is preheated to 300 at the very beginning, when step 4 asks for you to refridgerate the mixture for 30 minutes. what oven takes at least 30 minutes to pre-heat (the time it takes for the mixture to solidify)

I am not sure, but I don’t think the conversion on the temperature is correct.
