Adverts on the Singapore public transport line suggest that any passenger who notices something suspicious calls the number given.

Security sign on a Singaporean train

I simply have to question why the graphic used is an explosive-laden soccer ball.

What would you suggest as an alternative? I was thinking coconuts. For some reason coconuts always remind me of some kind of explosive.

    @ Steve -

Perhaps because of the Swiss Family Robinson movie? Did you ever see that? When the pirates are attacking the island, the Robinsons fill coconuts with gun powder to make grenades.

As for an alternative, how about a selection of bags? One could be a ‘suspicious package’ left in a train station, or something like that.

Never seen the movie. Perhaps it was a little before my time. That is hilarious though.

    Yeah, the bags would work.

There are a lot of cool gadets in the Spy Museum in DC if you guys ever visited.

    Keep looking like a cockroach.
