Could the passport cover be a proxy for one’s allegiance to their country?

passport-old-and-new

After 3 trips to Africa, my US citizenship seems to be rubbing away (left); however, travel to Costa Rica and US citizenship seems to grow more shiny (right).

Is this merely gravity at play? An American magnetic field weakened? Perhaps it represents how far one has strayed from the path and how easy it is to get back on track.

With that last tangent in mind: 2 continents, 6 countries, 34 days.

Starting….now.

Gravity, magnetic field or a broken canister of shaving shampoo?

3 trips to Africa = lots of sweat.

Solution = stop carrying your passport in your pocket.

@Liam, American passports should be sweatproof, darn it — we are a sweaty bunch, especially when we travel.

@Jordo, shaving shampoo? You mean, there’s a substance with which I could both shave and wash my hair? Perfect!

No, shaving shampoo is just for shaving your beard, it just leaves the bristles extra clean as they run down the sink drain.
