Recent Chicken Scratchings
When I saw this sign on a street in Buenos Aires last week, I was reminded of the ‘dim o gwbl ’ sign post previously discussed on chickenmonkeydog. You never know exactly how your words might translate into another language, and it can often lead to confusion, but sometimes they don’t need translation at all, so long as there is a graphic illustration. For example:
Unless of course this sign does not indicate that "Playa’s will be towed".
