Sally the camel had five humps initially, but as it turns out she was simply a horse in disguise. So as long as I could be in disguise, I would vote for five humps. If that is not possible I would prefer to be a dromedarian than a bactrian for asthetic reasons.

I would go for two humps, because sometimes in the middle of the night, I wake up thirsty … even when I haven’t been drinking booze. So, the extra load of water might prevent me needing to get that midnight drink.

I guess would probably sleep on my side too … sleeping on my back would be uncomfortable.

However, if sleeping on your back, I would think it would be better with two humps than one. More stable at least.

    @ Kieran -

You’re probably right … still, I think sleeping on my camel side would be more comfortable.

This is a tough one….while generally I find more humps to be better, I think that if I were a camel I would have to go one hump. Back humps are not that great….Also, if I had to have one, I think I would call it a lump rather than a hump….maybe it just depends on how big it is.

My boss told me that if my Camel manages to lose 1 hump over the weekend then i should take it around the back of a Mcdonalds restaurant and try to pawn it off for a Big Mac Meal.
As a 1 humped camel will always make you late for work

Ok, so am I the only one who has been singing Alice the Camel for the past few days?

I thought it was Sally the Camel?

    @ The Chicken’s Cousin

A quick search about the net seems to show that both Alice and Sally are commonly accepted versions of the song. Please feel free to sing whichever version is more comforting to your ears.
