Recent remodeling at home has left me in the market for a new microwave. After spending a few minutes glancing over the products at our local Home Depot (akin to the UK’s B&Q), I was amused by the advertisements stuck onto the doors of the various models. While the majority were rather mundane, “2.0 Cubic Feet” or “Open Me!”, I particularly enjoyed:

“Discover something your mother never knew.”

But overall, my favorite has to be:

There you have it. A top-notch deal if you ask me, only $239 for a microwave that has built-in capability. Nevermind what the capability is. Don’t you realize? You will finally be freed from hassle of all those other capability-lacking microwaves which require peripherals, upgrades, and add-ons to achieve any sort of capability, this sucker has it built-in right from the start!
