Hummus with 40 spices

At what point do you say “enough is enough” with the spices?

“Well, I’ve added thirty-five different spices, but I don’t think we’re quite there yet.”

“Thirty-six? No, still not quite right.”

“Thirty-seven? Oooh! That’s it! Perfect! But, why stop now? Let’s add three more just to get it up to an even forty.”

Do all those spices fit on the label with the the other ingredients?

I think you may be looking at this from the wrong perspective. Perhaps we should applaud them for showing restraint as it is possible they started at 80 spices!

at what point does adding additional spices create a new product, and not simply Hummus with more spices?
