When driving on the highway, I’ve often wondered whether truck drivers ever dare each other to lick that big, dirty, greasy round thing on the back of the truck. For some reason, I can see them doing that.

Anybody else ever wonder that?

Why does sometimes my half-finished coffee leave a ring around the inside of the coffee mug and sometime it does not? I always make my coffee the same strength, with approximately the same amount of milk and sugar.

How does the coffee then decide whether to stain or not?

Does anyone else experience these staining inconsistencies?

Given (1) and (2), would you estimate that the percentage of male professional soccer players in the world with “long hair” on their heads is greater than the overall percentage of men (age 18 – 35) with “long hair” on their heads?

Could I have spotted the Greenman of the Crosswalk?

At a small restaurant in Bangalore I noticed this little blurb, and one line in particular struck me as odd.

Located at Rayal Comforts on 5th floor, Attic is a cool place to eat, drink and to freak out.

Really? To freak out? Is that what you want people to associate with your restaurant? Is that what you want people to DO at your restaurant? Really!?

Whose telephone number is “1″?!? God? The President of the United States, calling from the White House?

As I was driving, my passenger answered the call — about which I was more than a bit jealous. The caller didn’t leave a name, but promised to send an email. Unfortunately, none of the emails I received yesterday indicated anything about calling me earlier in the day.

I remain in the dark as to who has such a cool phone number.
