    Tyre (wheel), the outer part of a wheel in British English (equivalent to tire in American English).

    I always thought ‘tyres’ was a bit weird/cute, but when I learned they spelled curb as “kerb” I was blown away.

    Two people separated by a common language…

    They probably didn’t face a lack of business in this recession. They can pretty much create a market for their tyre business just by keeping their puncture specialists active in the neighborhood!
