Poster adverting DJ gigs

We have all seen them, the posts and signs announcing some upcoming party or DJ at a local club. On most occasions the posters look pretty similar … jammed packed with the names of the DJ’s or bands performing. And for some reason these posters always get plastered on street signs.

But has anyone ever gone to such an event based on driving past the sign? And I am referring specifically to a DJ event advertised on a street sign. (You can tell that I never have … I don’t think ‘DJ event’ is the right name for whatever is being advertised.)

So, have you?

Oh no! The saying is “Kids will be kids”. I guess that explains why this particular product is “great for kids” but needs to be kept “out of reach of children”!

Warning that reads Caution: Keep out of reach of children

Bike lock warning

Do not lock bikes to this fence. Lock will be cut.

But what happens after the lock is cut? Will the bike be confiscated or left for thieves?

If it is the latter, I would take my chances and lock the bike to the fence. But if it is the former, then I would try to find somewhere else to lock my bike.

Or is not knowing what will happen after the lock is cut the biggest deterrent of all?
