Postcards in action
Posted 29 May 2009
We’ve started to receive photos of our chickenmonkeydog postcards in action. Take a look at the ones we’ve posted.

That wall art is from a reader in Cork, Ireland, who put all the postcards she received over the year on a wall.

Taking control of the photocopier at Deloitte Consulting’s office in Irving, Texas.

A reader in the Big Apple sent in a photo the postcard in front of “a really old medieval plate” at The Cloisters in New York City!
Non-Italian spaghetti sauce

Driving through Headington about a month or so ago, I saw a delivery man bringing in boxes into a local grocery store. One particular stack of boxes caught my attention.

I had never heard of Filipino style spaghetti sauce. What spices or ingredients make an Italian classic Filipino? What other variations of spaghetti sauce does Del Monte make, I wonder.

A classier Chinese buffet

I like that the above Chinese restaurant in Oxford isn’t all you can eat. It’s a cut above. A bit classier. A shade more refined. It is an ‘Eat as much as you like’ buffet. That strikes me as less ‘gorge yourself’ and more ‘enjoy your dining experience thoroughly’.
