Driving around Oxford over the weekend, I passed what I can only assume is the professional arch nemesis of Han Solo:

Aside from freezing someone to deliver them to Jabba the Hutt, what other cryogenic situations require professional solutions?

Today’s post comes to us a from a reader in Ireland who recently drifted through London on a day trip. Our reader writes:
“This sign caught my attention as I walked through the Old Street Tube station in London. It was witty, informative and catchy. As it was 9.00 in the morning, I didn’t stop in for a bowl, but I would do so if I ventured back that way again.”

Well, we totally agree. What a great sign! What a great name. It really sticks in the head – and the design of the sign itself lends itself to the quality of presentation. Congrats to Nin Com Soup on a job well done!
Thanks to our reader from Ireland for the great submission. Remember, you can always send in your great and quirky finds!
Park Your Pink Card Here!

This sign appears on the left side of an apartment building’s driveway. The location of the sign is almost as bizarre as the sign itself.

Caution. Hollow Sidewalk. No vehicles past this point!
Pink Card Parking Only. 30 minutes maximum.
No vehicles on a driveway? Only pink cards? Are there that many cards trying to park here that both color and time needed to be limited?
Can you spell that without any “r”s?

Really? This vehicle stops at all railroad crossings?
Man … that must take a long time.
How do you know when you’ve got them all covered?

Are you old enough to you remember Big Wheels?
When I was growing up, there was a boy down the street who had the toughest, meanest big wheel on the block. He was a nice kid; he was lucky enough to have the Green Machine, which was a rear-wheel steering, practically recumbant, crazy-fast peddling big wheel!
I hadn’t see Green Machines for years – I thought they were no longer being made.
Until last weekend … Behold, the new, sleeker, meaner, Green Machine!
